Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Yale Hughes began his professional career in the Pecos League in 2017 after a four-year career at West Liberty State University. There, he was 19-13 with a 4.03 ERA in 43 games (39 starts). To date in his pro career, he has forged a 10-8 record, despite a 8.61 ERA; in 2018 alone, he was 6-3 with 3 complete games and a 8.14 ERA in 17 games (12 starts); in 87 1/3 innings, he allowed 127 hits -- including 26 home runs -- and 48 walks, while striking out 97 batters for the Santa Fe Fuego.

He became a manager in 2021, leading the Trinidad Triggers to a 19-31, 3rd-place finish.
