Yáder Dionisio Roa Miranda

Biographical Information[edit]
Yáder Roa played 17 seasons in Nicaragua's amateur league. Never a league leader, he hit .240/.319/.323 with 264 runs and 165 RBI in 654 career games. His best season as a hitter was 1999, when he batted .312/.348/.451 for León. He later coached for Dantos when they won a couple national titles. He coached for the Nicaraguan national team in the 2019 Pan American Games Qualifier and 2019 Pan American Games (Bronze Medal). He was listed as a coach for the 2020 Americas Olympic Qualifier before that event was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
His brother Henry Roa was a long-time star in Nicaragua.
