Worcester Riddlers

From BR Bullpen

In 1903, the Worcester Hustlers of Worcester, MA became the Worcester Riddlers. The Eastern League club was 25-39 on July 21 when it collapsed and moved to Montréal, QC, where they became the Montreal Royals. Overall, they were 37-93 under managers Zeke Wrigley, Bill Clancy (interim) and Gene DeMontreville. Clancy was possibly the biggest bright spot, hitting .317 and slugging .407 while manning first base. At least they weren't last in the league. They were 57 1/2 games behind the Jersey City Skeeters but 3 1/2 up on the last-place Rochester Bronchos.
