Biographical Information

Woody Upchurch was with the Philadelphia Athletics in 1935 and 1936. Coming out of Campbell University, where he attended between the years 1930-1935, he had previously played minor league ball in 1932-1933 at Durham.

He was at Campbell at the same time as Rube Melton.
