Biographical Information[edit]

Willie Prall started three games for the Chicago Cubs in September of 1975, going 0-2 with an ERA of 8.59. He had originally been drafted by the San Francisco Giants out of Upsala College in the 3rd round of the 1971 amateur draft, then was traded to the Cubs for catcher Ken Rudolph on March 19, 1974.

He played in the minors from 1971 to 1977, including four seasons with the Wichita Aeros of the AAA American Association. he had his best season before his call-up in 1975, going 11-7, 3.73 in 29 games for Wichita. After being let go by the Cubs midway through the 1977 season, he was picked up by the Milwaukee Brewers and finished up his career with their AAA affiliate, the Spokane Indians of the Pacific Coast League. Overall, he went 53-64, 4.64 in 186 minor league games spread over 7 seasons.
