Biographical Information

Will Sawyer pitched for the Cleveland Blues in 1883. Although he had a record of 4-10, his 2.36 ERA was fourth best in the National League. He was said to have been 18 years old when he made his debut, although it's also said he was at Adelbert College (now Case Western University) from 1880-1883.

In 1884 he was 8-4 for Grand Rapids.
