Will Sanborn

Biographical Information[edit]

Will Sanborn has won over 500 games as a college coach.

As a player at Saint Joseph's College, he had 51 walks and 59 runs as a senior in 1986. He coached at Bonny Eagle High School. In 1992, he returned to Saint Joseph's as head coach. Through 2011, he was 503-288-5 and had guided the school to Maine Athletic Conference titles from 1999-2001, North Atlantic Conference titles from 2005-2007, and Great Northeast Athletic Conference titles in 2008, 2010 and 2011. He also coached Charlie Furbush, the first player from Saint Joseph's to make it to one of the four major professional sports leagues in the US.

Sanborn's son, Lincoln, played at St. John's University for a year, then played for Will at Saint Joseph's. He became an assistant coach at Saint Joseph's in 2015.
