Western Australia

Western Australia forms, not surprisingly, the western third of the island of Australia and is one of the country's six states. It is borderd by the Indian Ocean to the east and the Great Southern Ocean to the south. Its capital is Perth. In spite of its isolation from the rest of the continent, the state has been a hotbed of baseball in recent decades.
