Biographical Information[edit]
Wesley Oler was a star high jumper for Yale who participated in the 1912 Olympics. In the baseball exhibition, he was loaned to Sweden as a catcher due to their lack of experienced players. He went 1 for 4 as Sweden's leadoff hitter in a 13-3 loss to the US.
