Weiser, ID

Weiser is located in western Idaho, on the Snake River which forms the border with Oregon, 10 miles north of Payette, ID. Bob Martyn was born here. Weiser High School is here.

Walter Johnson played semi-pro baseball in Weiser in 1906 and 1907. His performance for the Weiser "Kids" was so spectacular that he jumped straight to the majors without spending time in the minor leagues.
