Weimar, Thuringia

From BR Bullpen

Weimar is located in Germany, in Thuringia. Better known as the hometown of writer Johann von Goethe, it was where a new republican constitution for Germany was adopted after World War I and as a result gave its name to the short-lived régime that existed from 1919 to 1933. It was located in East Germany during that country's existence between 1949 and 1990. Mickey Scott was born here.
