Biographical Information[edit]
Wei-Chieh Lo played in the CPBL.
Lo represented Taiwan in the 2019 U-18 Baseball World Cup; he helped them win Gold, hitting .379/.438/.655 with 11 RBI. He tied for 9th in hits (11), tied Pete Crow-Armstrong for the lead with three triples and tied T.J. Schofield-Sam for 3rd in RBI. The Uni-President Lions selected him in the 2nd round of the 2019 CPBL Draft, and he hit .320/.408/.607 with 7 homers in the minor league in 2020. Lo was 6-for-24 in 8 games in his rookie year with the big club.
He led the CPBL minors with 5 homers in 2021, but his batting line was .202/.302/.258. Lo struggled again with the big club, and his batting line was .139/.220/.167 in 2021 and .216/.293/.351 in 2022. He then represented Taiwan in the 2022 U-23 Baseball World Cup, going 1 for 2 with a run and a RBI. Lo recorded a .268/.344/.404 batting line in the minors in 2023, but he was 4-for-33 with the big club.
