Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Wayne Redmond played briefly in two major league seasons, getting into 4 games for the Detroit Tigers in 1965 and 5 games for the same team in 1969. Redmond failed to collect a hit in his 8 plate appearances although he did score one run as a pinch runner. His Tigers stint in 1969 followed a season with the AAA Toledo Mud Hens where he was suspended at year's end by manager Jack Tighe for "lackadaisical play".
