Biographical Information[edit]
Warriner Bass played in the minor leagues from 1948 to 1950. He hit .314 with 22 doubles and 12 triples in 126 games his first campaign, then fell to .245 in 1949. With the Roanoke Rapids Jays in 1950, he hit .302 with 14 home runs, leading the Coastal Plain League in RBI with 148. Overall, Bass hit .295 with 25 home runs in 333 games. He served in the Navy during World War II.
