Biographical Information[edit]
Warren McLaughlin played for the Philadelphia Phillies, then for the Pittsburgh Pirates, and then again for the Phillies. His best success was with the Pirates in 1902, under manager Fred Clarke, when he went 3-0 in three starts. As a hitter in 24 major league plate appearances, he hit .304.
He played local ball in New Jersey before starting minor league ball in 1897. Much of his minor league career was spent in the Connecticut State League.
After baseball he worked as a sheet-metal fabricator. Although normally of good health, he fell ill in 1923 and died at the age of 47.
