Biographical Information[edit]
A high school star in baseball, football, and basketball, Wally Jakowcyz played seven seasons of minor league baseball, primarily in the Philadelphia Phillies organization. He had his best year with the Terre Haute Phillies of the Three I League in 1947, hitting .333 with 14 home runs in 117 games.
