Wall Street Journal
The Wall Street Journal is a daily newspaper based in New York, NY whose principal areas of coverage include the stock market, business news and the economy. It began printing in 1889, making it one of the oldest newspapers in the country. It is noted for its very conservative politics, favorable to the interests of big business. Sports is not a major feature of the Journal, although stories with an economic bent will sometimes appear.
Robert Feemster, who rose to become the Journal's publisher as Chairman of the executive committee of the Dow Jones Corporation in the 1940s, also owned at least one minor league baseball team, the Orlando Flyers.
