Walkerton, ON

Walkerton is a small town in southern Ontario, located 50 miles north of London, ON and 60 miles northwest of Hamilton, ON. It is infamous for a scandal in 2000 when its water supply was contaminated by a dangerous bacteria, leading to a number of deaths. Fred McCrum died here long before those tragic events.
