Würzburg, Bavaria

Würzburg is located in Bavaria, in southern Germany, on the Main River, 70 miles northwest of Nürnberg, Bavaria and 75 miles southeast of Frankfurt, Hesse. The United States Army operated a military base here from the end of World War II until 2008, when the last troops were withdrawn. Daniel Aldrich, Mike Blowers and Brendan Donovan were born here.
