Vismay Santos has been an infielder for Guantánamo, primarily at third base.

In 2005-2006, he led the Cuban Serie Nacional with 28 times hit by pitch. He hit .288/.389/.505 in 2007-2008 but led the league with 74 strikeouts. Through that year, he had batted .264 and slugged .455 in 11 seasons.

Santos produced at a .307/.432/.512 rate in 2008-2009 with 71 RBI in 80 games. He was hit by 22 pitches, third in the circuit.
