Biographical Information

Pitcher Vincent Kilpela played in the St. Louis Cardinals system from 1955 to 1957. His best season, spent with the Ardmore Cardinals, was his second, when he went 14-9 with a 2.81 ERA in 36 games (25 starts). He allowing 168 hits in 231 innings and struck out 276 batters to lead the Sooner State League in whiffs. He also had 142 walks allowed.

Overall, Kilpela was 17-16 in 66 games.
