Vincent De Angelis

Biographical Information[edit]

Vincent De Angelis was a college baseball coach.

De Angelis played baseball and football at his alma mater, George Washington University. He was named to the GWU All-Time Baseball Team as a pitcher and also played outfield. In 1949, he replaced Otts Zahn, who became seriously ill before the start of the baseball season, as head baseball coach of GWU. Bill Reinhart replaced him as head coach in 1950.

He had served in the US Army Air Corps and Air Force during World War II and the Korean War.
