Biographical Information

Pitcher Victor Mederos went to five different schools - three high schools and two colleges - before being drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 6th round of the 2022 amateur draft. Less than a year later, on June 30, 2023, he made his debut with the Angels, pitching 2 innings in relief in a 6-2 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks and giving up one run.

While he was born in Cuba, he arrived to the U.S. with his family at age 6 and grew up in Florida, where his favorite player was Jose Fernandez, His older brother is also named Victor.
