Biographical Information[edit]
Vic Travis was an umpire who worked six American League games in 1995, when the regular umpires went on strike at the start of the season. His first game was on April 26th, and his last game on May 2nd. he had earlier worked as a minor league umpire, starting in the Appalachian League in 1982, the Carolina League in 1983, the Southern League from 1984-1986, and the International League starting in 1986.
