Ventnor City is located in eastern New Jersey, on the Atlantic Ocean, immediately southwest of Atlantic City, NJ. Named after a city in England with a name signifying "northern wind" in French, it is beast know for lending its name to a property in the boardgame "Monopoly". William Locke died here.
