Tyrone Brandt has pitched for South Africa in international competition. Brandt allowed ten hits and nine runs in three innings in the 2005 Baseball World Cup, taking the loss against the Cuban national team. He tied for the highest ERA on Cuba's staff. He was on South Africa's roster for the 2006 World Baseball Classic but did not pitch in the event.
