Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Tyler Robertson reached the majors with the Minnesota Twins in 2012. His brother Charlie Robertson pitched in the minors.

Robertson was selected by the Twins in the third round of the 2006 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Kevin Bootay and made his pro debut that summer with the GCL Twins, going 4-2 with a 4.25 ERA in 11 games. After starting 2012 with the Rochester Red Wings, he was called up to the majors in June. He made his big league debut on June 26th, throwing a scoreless inning of relief and striking out the side against the Chicago White Sox.
