Biographical Information

Tung-Yu Huang pitched in the CPBL for 2 years.

Huang was drafted by the Wei Chuan Dragons in the 14th round of the 2019 CPBL Draft, and he had a 3.51 ERA with 13 holds in 44 games in the minors in 2020. He was 2-2 with a 4.84 ERA in24 appearances in 2021, and he also pitched 13 games with a solid 1.65 ERA with the big club. Huang notched 5 holds with a 4.27 ERA in 2022, but his ERA was 5.40 in 3 games in the major league. He didn’t appear in the big club in 2023, then the Dragons released him.

Huang’s repertoire included a fastball (peak 84.8 mph), forkball, curveball, changeup and slider.

Overall, Huang was 2-0 with a 2.00 ERA, pitched 18 innings and struck out 15 in 2 seasons in the CPBL.
