Biographical Information[edit]
Tsuruo Suzuki pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball for 2 years.
Suzuki was signed by the Nagoya Kinko in 1937, and he was 4-7 with a 3.65 ERA in the spring season. He went 9-7 with a 2.43 ERA in the fall season, and he had a 1-6 record with a 5.53 ERA in the 1938 spring season. Suzuki led the JPBL with 5 homers allowed in that spring. After having a 2-3 record with a 4.362 ERA in the fall season, Suzuki was enlisted into the military and his professional career ended.
Overall, Suzuki was 16-23 with a 3.55 ERA, struck out 112 and pitched 363 innings in 2 years in NPB.
