Biographical Information[edit]
Tsunetaro Moriyama was a pitcher in early Japan and shutout the Yokohama Gaijin Club in 1901. They hold the first international baseball game in Japan in 1896, and Moriyama was the first pitcher to shutout them. He was inducted to the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966.
