Truett McConnell University

Truett-McConnell University opened in 1946 as a two-year school called Truett McConnell College. Four-year degrees were first offered in 2003. The school joined the NAIA in the fall of 2009 and changed to its current name in May 2016. The school's teams were previously known as the Mountaineers (1951-1965) and Great Danes (1965-2005). Fraser Ellard and Rob Flanigan went here.
