Biographical Information[edit]

Troy Neiman has pitched in the minors.

Neiman was 9-3 with a 1.53 ERA for Chico State in 2013. The Colorado Rockies signed him as an undrafted free agent. He made his pro debut with the Tri-City Dust Devils, going 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA in 12 games. In 2014, he was 7-1 with 6 saves and a 1.59 ERA for the Asheville Tourists, fanning 89 in 79 innings and posting a .92 WHIP. He was 4th in the South Atlantic League with 47 games pitched, tied Akeel Morris for the most whiffs by a full-time reliever in the league and tied for the most wins by a full-time reliever. Among Rockies farmhands, he tied for 4th in pitching appearances.

With the Modesto Nuts in 2015, he was 3-2 with 3 saves and a 4.76 ERA in 40 games. He returned to Modesto for '16 and improved to 7-4, 3.55 with two saves in 45 outings. He struck out 83 in 71 innings. He tied Colby Blueberg and Logan Cozart for 4th in the California League in games pitched; among Rockies farmhands, he tied Cozart and Austin House for 5th. He was on the Israeli national team for the 2017 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers but did not get into a game as the team won a spot in the 2017 World Baseball Classic.
