Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Troy Farnsworth was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 32nd round of the 1998 amateur draft and made his pro debut that summer with the New Jersey Cardinals. With the Peoria Chiefs the next year, he hit .250 with a team-high 19 home runs and was named team MVP. In 2000, he led the Potomac Cannons with 23 home runs, and he also led the New Haven Ravens with 18 round trippers in 2001. He later played in the Philadelphia Phillies and Milwaukee Brewers organizations, ending his career in 2004.
