Biographical Information[edit]

Third baseman Tripper Johnson was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in 1st round of the 2000 amateur draft. He was signed by scout John Gillette and made his pro debut that summer. He played in the Orioles chain through 2006, reaching AA. After one season in the Pittsburgh Pirates' chain, he retired from baseball.

Johnson then played college football for the University of Washington in 2008.
