Biographical Information[edit]

Relief pitcher Trent Daniel began his professional career in 2013.

He was originally taken by the Detroit Tigers in the 23rd round of the 2011 amateur draft, but opted not to sign. He was next drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 17th round of the 2013 amateur draft and inked a contract.

With the Tri-City Dust Devils in 2013, Daniel posted a 1.90 ERA with 15 saves in 23 appearances to earn Northwest League Mid-Season All-Star honors. In 2014, he was 5-2 with a 3.12 ERA and 15 saves in 53 games for the Asheville Tourists. He began 2015 with the Modesto Nuts.
