Biographical Information

Travis Tartamella was called up to the majors in late September of 2015 despite hitting .203/.236/.246 for the Memphis Redbirds and having a sub-.200 average in the minors for his career; he was added for his defensive work behind home plate after the St. Louis Cardinals lost Yadier Molina to injury.
