Biographical Information

Toshifumi Kaneko played for Toshiba in the industrial leagues after college. He made the Japanese national team for the 2019 Asian Championship. He hit .600/.692/.700 with 2 RBI and 5 runs in the first five games. In the Gold Medal Game, he hit 6th and played 1st, going 0-for-3 before being replaced by Yoshikazu Kutsukake in a 4-5 loss to Taiwan.
