Biographical Information[edit]

Tony Plansky played in the minor leagues as an outfielder from 1930 to 1932. He went to spring training with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1931. He was also a football player who played as a running back for two NFL teams that shared the same names as major league teams; the New York Giants and the Boston Braves.
