Biographical Information[edit]

Tony Delgado was a college coach.

Delgado was head coach of Illinois Institute of Technology in 1972, then joined the University of St. Francis as an assistant coach, a role he held from 1980-1995. He was head coach from 1996-2005, after Gordie Gillespie retired, going 296-271. He only had one losing season in 10 years. When Gillespie returned to St. Francis, he succeeded Delgado. In 2009, he was inducted into the St. Francis Hall of Fame.
