Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Tomosaburo Narita played for the Tokyo Kyojin from 1936 to 1938. In the fall of 1936, he went 0-0 with a 1.80 ERA in five innings; in 1937's fall season, he was 2-0 with a 1.71 mark in 26 1/3 frames and in spring of 1938, he was 2-3 with a 3.72 ERA in 38 2/3 innings.
Overall, he went 4-3 with a 2.83 ERA in 70 innings. He allowed 44 hits and 38 walks, while striking out 33 batters. He later ran for city council of Aomori as a Liberal Democrat; he was elected for four terms.
