Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Tommy Thompson played in the Detroit Tigers system from 1960 to 1963, save for 1962, which he missed. Perhaps his best campaign was 1961, when he went 10-7 with a 4.05 ERA in 28 games (16 starts) for the Duluth-Superior Dukes. He was 15-12 in 57 games overall. At the plate, he batted .203 in 69 at-bats.

He then was head baseball coach and assistant basketball coach at Bucknell.
