Biographical Information

Pitcher Tommy Bergjans was an 8th round selection by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2015 amateur draft. He spent his first seasons with the Ogden Raptors and the Great Lakes Loons, combining for a 3-3 mark and a 3.35 ERA in 14 games (12 starts). In 2016, he was assigned to the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the California League but things did not go so well as his record was only 3-13 with an ERA of 4.98 in 24 games, of which 21 were starts. On August 25th, he was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies along with C A.J. Ellis in return for C Carlos Ruiz.
