Tomaz Sovinc
Tomaz Sovinc was on the first Slovenian national team in a European Championship. In their 1995 European Championship debut, he started in left. Retired by Dante Carbini his first time up, he was replaced by Dusan Gaspersic. He finished the event 1-for-5 with a walk and a run; his hit was off Germany's Klaus Knüttel and his walk come from Belgium's Joeri Loykens. Defensively, he had 3 putouts and an assist. [1] He later ran the European Slowpitch Softball League. [2]
