Biographical Information[edit]

In the 1995 European Championship, he walked five and allowed four runs in 2 1/3 IP; he also hit a batter and threw a wild pitch. He pitched 7 1/3 innings without an earned run in the 1997 European Championship. During the 2001 European Championship, he went 0-2 with a 6.08 ERA despite 13 strikeouts in 13 1/3 IP. He tied for fifth in the event in strikeouts.
During either the 2003 or 2005 Elitserien, Eriksson was 6-3 with a 3.72 ERA; the Swedish baseball statistics site gives the same line both years, the only season from 2003-2007 he is listed as playing.
He was 1-1 with a 1.29 ERA in the 2005 European Championship. In the 2005 Baseball World Cup, Eriksson gave up 14 hits and 13 runs in 6 2/3 IP. Most of the damage came when Tomas was the sacrificial lamb called on to start against the Cuban national team; he surrendered 10 runs in a loss, allowing 2 homers to Yulieski Gourriel and one to Eriel Sanchez.
