Biographical Information

Tom Tellmann had some substantial successes in pro ball. He was in the majors for five years and the minors for eight. With the San Diego Padres in 1980, he had a 1.61 ERA in 22 1/3 innings. With the Milwaukee Brewers in 1983, he went 9-4 with 8 saves. With the same team in 1984, he was 6-3 with 4 saves and a 2.78 ERA. In the minors, he was lucky enough to spend four years with the Hawaii Islanders, going 13-5 in 1980 and 12-11 in 1981.
