Biographical Information[edit]
Tom Nelson was a mainstay for Team Canada in the 1980s.
He played for Canada in the 1981 Intercontinental Cup, 1982 Amateur World Series, 1983 Intercontinental Cup, 1983 Pan American Games (leading all players with 12 hits), 1985 Intercontinental Cup, 1987 Intercontinental Cup, 1988 Baseball World Cup (0 for 6, 3 strikeouts, backing up Greg Roth at 2B) and 1988 Olympics.
