Biographical Information[edit]

A 6' 3" right-hander, Tom Herrin was part of the Boston Red Sox staff during the 1954 season, finishing with a record of 1-2 in 14 games in his only year in the major leagues.

Herrin spent seven seasons (1949-1955) in the minors ending with a 54-50 record and a 3.82 ERA. Tom's best season in baseball was his first, winning 16 and losing 10 for the Oneonta Red Sox of the Canadian-American League in 1949. The Shreveport, LA, native died November 29, 1999, at age 69 in Homer, Louisiana.
