Biographical Information[edit]
Tom Healey, who was born in Rhode Island, played in the majors for the 1878 Providence Grays and the 1878 Indianapolis Blues. His ERA for the year, at 2.39, was close to the league's ERA of 2.30.
He continued pitching in the minors through at least 1887.
