Tom Griffin is a college coach.
Griffin was a three-time All-Conference pick in college.
Griffin was an assistant coach at Tennessee Wesleyan College in 1989. He was the head coach of Tusculum College from 1990-1997, going 184-178-1. From 1998-2001, he was assistant at Carson-Newman College. He was 24-16 as head coach of Morristown East High School in 2002. From 2003-2005, he returned to Carson-Newman as assistant. He was promoted to head coach in 2006. The school was 35-20 that year, then 36-20 in 2007. He was 43-18 in 2008, setting a school record for wins. The club fell to 24-21 in 2009 then rebounded to 31-18 in 2010.
