Biographical Information[edit]
Former big league infielder Tom Foley joined the expansion Tampa Bay Devil Rays organization in 1996. He was the minor league field coordinator from 1996 to 1999, and managed the 1996 Butte Copper Kings. Foley was the director of minor league operations for two years and was the club's third base coach from 2002 to 2014. In 2015, he was named the Rays' bench coach under new manager Kevin Cash staying until the end of the 2017 season. He was a supernumerary coach in 2018, but did not return the following season.
